How do you make tortilla's again?
Well this last weekend Cami and I decided it would be a good idea to make our own tortilla's...seeing as it's way cheaper and we hear it's easy and they taste better, right?! Well, the first problem is that we have no counter space so everything is crunched as is...but then the typical call is for a tortilla press in order to flatten out your dough into nice thin tortillas...right, so we don't have one of those. So the next choice is a rolling pin, only we don't have one of those either...next best thing...an empty wine bottle of course. So we go to work with the wine bottle only to find out that tortilla dough really likes to stick to the wine label. Needless to say we're left with few options...and then the idea came to me:

Seeing as my Pharmacology text didn't do much good for me on my last test, why not use it as a tortilla press...i mean it's heavy and really flat. And viola,

As you can see, it makes the perfect tortilla! Anyway, enjoy all your store bought tortillas, while we munch these tasty dactal treats (I highly recommend makin' your own tortillas...tastes just like it smells, delicious!)!

Funny how a bottle of wine is way more expensive than a rolling pin….but I understand priorities. Impressive display of frugality, the last time I made tortillas instead of spending 99cents on a bag of corn tortillas was in Belgie were they are unavailable and I had copious down time.
