Birthdays and Pumpkins
Not too long ago Cami had her birthday, and the gracious Katie Friesen baked a bundt (i have no idea how you spell bundt) cake...and brought me CD's. Awesome. 
As you can see Cami was very excited about the cake...look at that stare...yeah, we love chocolate!!!
Then last week we had a pumpkin carving party. For those of you who have been to our place you know how difficult it would be to fit one small dog and 9 people all carving pumpkins, drinking wine, and eating a whole lot of delectable treats.
Anyway, the place heated up pretty well. And it was a great time laughing and carving with seeds and pulp flying all over the kitchen. Continuing with our philosophy of minimalism and less is better our tiny pumpkin was at least a 1/4 the size of even the smallest of everyone elses pumpkin.
I left the carving to Cami, the artist, and Wow! Seriously, I didn't know you could make art out of pumpkins, but Cami proved it to us all with this amazing piece....

Yes, Cam, that picture is incredible. It's my screensaver. Thanks for the mention on your blog, maybe it will make me more popular? Anyway, glad you enjoyed the cake. I hope you ate it all in one weekend.
