Butt-Jam Falls and Other Adventures...

Ok, so I thought a few more pictures from Outward Bound were needed. Ian's last post was so full of adventure that I think I've been outdone! So, here are a few more pictures that give some insight into the best week in the office...

Here we are all lined up in Butt-Jam Falls. Yes folks, that's the actual name. It's fairly obvious, but you stick your tush in the stream of water (the rock is perfectly shaped for tushies of all types). This acts as a dam and keeps all of the water at bay....for a while...

Then, you have someone stand at the bottom of the stream. On the count of three, the tush group lifts their bums up simultaneously, and....

TA DA!! This is the result!! Those brave enough to stand under the waterfall emerge looking like drowned rats, but who wouldn't want to get pelted with that much red desert water!?

So, there you have it...it was a wonderful week. I'm a big fan of the desert, and of Outward Bound, and of getting dirty and playing outside. This weekend, Ian and I are headed to Gunnison and Crested Butte! We are excited! We'll be sure to post some more shots after we return...
