Family, Friends, and Bulging Abdomens!
What a great vacation! We literally didn't do an ounce of work or school for 5 days! I feel like it's something to be incredibly proud of...like quitting smoking or something. Anyway, I'll just let some pics speak, but it was a beautiful couple days and I can't wait for fun, food, and more wonderful family times over Christmas!!!
Cami and Nic (and some random kid with a goofy smile-must have been laughing at his friends next to us who were about killing themselves on the rock...seriously...way sketchy!!!) gettin' ready to send 5.9+ . Nice Send girls

(Note Colin's hiking attire! That kid can whoop all our butts hiking-proof that all the REI gear junkies should spend their time gettin' out there rather than thinkin' about how you can't do it until you get the 'right' gear...self included.)
The last two are some pics from the Death March my Dad suggested in Zion...nothing like a bunch of 3rd class on crumbling sandstone with no trail, rushing back to beat the oncoming darkness. But nothing beats the views of Zion!

no doubt dude, the 'right gear' is for richers and yuppies... however, i can't say i'm still not covetous of a new pair of la sportiva's or a titanium cook set... but, no worries.
speaking of hardcore, the stinkin' chinese are way hardcore! i met some tibetian sherpa's on some of my travels, holy crap, they only gear they have is the stuff they knit! awesome!
