What child is this?
-In the key of G please-
"This is Christ the King,
Whom shepherds guard and Angels sing;
Haste, haste, to bring Him laud,
The Babe, the Son of Mary.
Why lies He in such mean estate,
Where lamb and ass and buffalo are feeding?
Good..."

You are both blessings in my life as well! I hope I get to see you over Christmas Break. Cami, your dad's nativity set is amazing! Much love to both of you,

(From Friesen) Yes, definitely the key of G! At first I laughed at the tree, but then it's possible that the pic of you guys brought a small tear to the corner of my left eye. Happy first Christmas together! Glad we live close.
So, did Lance make just the "stable" or did he carve the people, too?
An old friend of your parents, Dan Friedrichsen. (last time I saw you Cami, you stayed at our house in Ames, IA.
yeah, three cheers for your first christmas together, my sis and new bro! can't wait to hang out soon--gorging ourselves with raspberry sherbet and hand-iced cookies and competing to 'unwrap' the baby jesus. !
Hey Cami,
I'm an old friend of your parents too. I lived in Gr. Jct. and knew you when you went to Redlands Community Church. Your Dad put an addition onto our house in the mid 1980's. Your folks send me their Christmas letter/photo every year and it's been a delight to watch you kids grow up via photographs. You have always had such a wonderful family. I hope you'll be the first to start the next generation off in the same tradition of Godliness. Congratulations to you and Ian. You look so darling in your photo together, honey. May God bless your marriage and your future together.

Wow, it is fun to hear from old friends! Dan, my dad made the stable and an incredibly beautiful wooden suitcase of sorts to store the stable and the figurines...he's quite the craftsman! Dorothy, I remember you from GJ! How are your kids doing? Merry Christmas to you both! Camille
